In agreeing to attend a Let’s Activate program I, the parent/guardian:

Release and forever discharge Let’s Activate from all claims that I may have or may have had arising from, or in connection with, my child and a Let’s Activate program; and Indemnify, will keep indemnified and hold harmless Let’s Activate, to the extent permitted by law in respect of any claim as a result of or in connection with a Let’s Activate program.

I warrant that my child has not at any time suffered a blackout, seizure, convulsion, fainting, dizzy spells or any other medical condition and is not presently receiving treatment for any illness, disorder or injury which would render it unsafe for my child to take part in a Let’s Activate program. I have read these Terms and Conditions as well as all information on the Let’s Activate website (www.letsactivate.com.au) and I consent for my child to participate in a Let’s Activate program and understand the potential for risk and further agree to be bound by the Let’s Activate Code of Conduct and Operating Rules as may be made aware to me from time to time either verbally or in writing.

I acknowledge that Let’s Activate uses its best endeavours to ensure that the equipment and sporting facilities used in the program are safe and fit for purpose and acknowledge that all sports are however, inherently dangerous. I have voluntarily read these Terms and Conditions and accept the inherent associated risks. “Let’s Activate” means all Directors, personally and in their capacity as a Director, Partners of Directors, Agents, and any representatives of Let’s Activate. The “Let’s Activate Program” include all programs and activities that you or your child participate in during our courses and classes.

Timetable Changes
All classes are subject to change. While Let’s Activate uses its best efforts to operate classes as per the timetable published on this website, in some instances, changes are required due to fluctuations in demand and venue or instructor availability, which are all beyond our control. No guarantee is made that classes will run per the timetable. Any changes required will be communicated to those affected prior to the date classes commence. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience that these changes may cause.

Cancellation Policy
To enable our program to remain viable we need to have guidelines on refunds. This is because court hire and the number of classes we run need to be arranged for an entire term in advance. Therefore, unless there are extenuating circumstances, no refunds are available, unless classes are cancelled by Let’s Activate.

Make-Up Class Policy
If your child is unable to attend a class, then a make-up class (within 7 days, at another location or another time slot) may be offered to you if we have had prior warning of non-attendance. We cannot, however, guarantee there will be availability in all classes for a make-up class. A maximum of two (2) make-up classes per term are available. Make-up classes do not carry over and no credit is available for classes missed. To book a make-up class, please email us at contact@letsactivate.com.au

Uniform Policy
Let’s Activate has a mandatory uniform policy with all children attending a class (excluding “trial-class” enrolments) required to wear a Let’s Activate shirt and shorts to class.

Fee Payment
We only take bookings for an entire term and our fees are structured this way. Unfortunately, we cannot take casual bookings or pro-rata weeks you may be away. Please refer to our make-up class policy for missed classes. All fees must be paid before the commencement of each term. If fees are not paid by this time your child may not attend any class.

Parental Participation
Parents/guardians of each child are required to be present for the duration of each class. Let’s Activate is not a registered child care provider and is not therefore licensed to care for children without parental or guardian supervision.
We encourage parental participation, and do require parental involvement in the 20 months -3 Year Old Program to assist in maintaining class structure and ensuring the children stay focused. Even in the case of older group’s classes, parents are also encouraged to participate with the enrolled child, as it may be beneficial for the child, and help the session to run more smoothly with the involvement of parents or guardians.

Sibling Policy
Siblings of enrolled children are not permitted to participate in Let’s Activate classes. If you have siblings with you, we ask that you ensure that they remain off the court or arena, and do not interfere with any equipment being used throughout the duration of the class.

From time to time your child may be photographed or filmed whilst undertaking a Let’s Activate class. Such media might be used for promotional, including but not limited to reproduction on the Let’s Activate website and social media platforms such as Youtube, Instagram and Facebook. By enrolling your child in the Let’s Activate program you agree to such use by Let’s Activate. Parents are not to take videos or photographs that include other children in the class without the permission of that child’s parent/guardian. PLEASE NOTE – The songs used in our programs are copyrighted and may not be reproduced or published anywhere without the permission of Let’s Activate. From time to time, we may need children to appear in our commercial productions, and if we select your child to appear in such videos, we will speak with your directly.

Food and Drink
It is prohibited for food to be consumed during any Let’s Activate class. The facilities in which we operate our classes also ban food from being consumed on the court or playing arena. Any child found to be consuming food during a class will be asked to leave the court immediately. Furthermore, consuming food during classes would leave your child open to the risk of choking. For all these reasons, we have a strict no eating policy during class time. Our classes are structured to include a drink break and we request that all children bring a drink bottle with them to each class.
